I noticed u have a wide tip. I 💬 no u need a small one were all the heat and force hits it better. Try that. I'm only guessing, but it may do better

I don’t understand why you would not just take a hoe and mix all the garden soil and peat moss throughout the whole bed instead of making holes full of compacted garden soil.

Here in middle New Hampshire, an excapee from the neighboring hunt club found its way to our chicken & Duck enclosure. Everyone seems to be getting along. The Chukar now named Chuck seems happy, and is a striking contrast to the laying girls. This is a 1790 farm and I'll bet this is the first time a Chukar has visited the farm in 234 years !. We'll see how long Chuck stays with us.
